Junior & Youth Climbing

Due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, we are not taking any bookings for supervised climbing sessions.
If you want to keep up to date with developments, please opt into our information emails.

"Our Youth Climbing Program is designed to be progressive, inclusive, and meet the needs of beginners, rookies, and experienced young climbers. We provide one-off tasters and activity sessions, after school/weekend clubs for progression and national award schemes."

All young people under the age of 18 must be supervised when in the centre - whether climbing or not. Experienced Teenagers can have more freedom but, as a rule, supervision must be provided by either a member of our team (via a pre-booked session) or, an experienced adult who has completed appropriate registration. If you intend to supervise children, please read our supervising guidance. If you're interested, the BMC has produced a parent's guide to climbing, walking and mountaineering with young people, you can read this booklet here.
